Magic uses many different keywords to explain much more complicated mechanics simply to save room on each card. For example, most new players understand the use of the term “Haste”, but originally creatures who had Haste simply had a line of text reading “This creature is unaffected by summoning sickness”. As you guessed by the name the deck is a mix of 3 decks I was at Star City Games Baltimore open series the last big tournament for Stoneforge Mystic and Jace,The Mind Sculptor were still legal in standard. I am from Chambersburg, PA so going to this was big for me and despite a theft of decks and other personal problems, was a life changing experience. Modern format is here and we await Philadelphia to show what the players on the pro level are toying with in their heads I have here is a few decks that I think may have won benefit from the modern format and those who lost still having legacy to call home. The Biggest winner at this time i see is Mono Black Control as people have been trying this deck since Dark Confidant in Ravnica.
